... the top was in need of replacement so we ripped it out, fixed any rust, repainted the frame and while we had it all apart, replaced all of the wood with new pieces from Convertible Specialties. I was going to replace the top with another vinyl unit but decided to go for the canvas replacement when I saw the great deal they had going on their premium package. Their headliner, pad and top came with an excellent video that made our garage installation look like a professional job! This is my second top installation and I couldn't be more pleased this time around.

After probably frustrating the hell out of you on prices and questions,....I finally ordered a top, cables, headliner, and pad from you. So you made a sale for all your time and effort. But the real reason I am sending this is to inform you that this is the nicest top I've seen on one of these cars. I followed your instructions as per your step by step video and, incredibly, no wrinkles. The top was smooth, tight, perfect and beyond what I thought I could have done. No comparison. I just wanted to drop you a note to say that I am impressed with the quality of your products at Convertible Specialties. A friend asked me to put a top on his '72 Superbeetle Conv. Hesitantly I agreed. I watched the video a few times and have now progressed to the point of actually installing the top (headliner / padding complete), just need to buy some spray silicone. Additionally, your prices can't be beat. Recently, as you know, I ordered a top kit for my 69 1/2 GHIA Conv. Finally I have appreciated the (free) advice you have given me over the past several weeks. I will be sure to "spread the word" to other air cooled enthusiests in my area about the high quality, low cost products you provide and the friendly and courteous service you provide for your customers.
